About Bastion AI

Bastion AI is a free security tool that is still in active development, operated by Brantley Brumley and The General AI Proficiency Institute (GenAIPI.org). By accessing or using Bastion AI in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following terms.

Voluntary Use & Assumption of Risk

Your use of Bastion AI is entirely voluntary. By choosing to use this tool, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with its use. You understand that Bastion AI is provided as a developmental tool and that you are using it of your own free will and at your own risk.

Not a Complete Security Solution

Bastion AI is not an end-all-be-all security solution and should not be relied upon as one. It is a tool that can aid users and their AI bots in identifying where vulnerabilities may lie. It helps alert users to look into plugins more in depth before using them. Bastion AI does not guarantee the detection of all vulnerabilities, risks, or security issues. It is your responsibility to perform additional due diligence beyond what this tool provides.

No Warranties

Bastion AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties or guarantees of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the service or the results it produces.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bastion AI, its operators, contributors, and The General AI Proficiency Institute shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever arising from the use of, reliance on, or inability to use this service. This includes but is not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bastion AI, its operators, Brantley Brumley, and The General AI Proficiency Institute from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the service, your reliance on any information provided by the service, or your violation of these terms.

Service Changes & Future Pricing

Bastion AI is under active development. The service may change, be updated, or be discontinued at any time without prior notice. The CLI tool and cloud dashboard are currently offered free of charge. However, certain features — particularly the cloud dashboard and verification system — may transition to a paid service in the future. We will provide reasonable notice of any pricing changes. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for their own security decisions. Bastion AI provides information and analysis to assist you, but the ultimate responsibility for securing your systems, agents, and plugins rests entirely with you. You should not rely on Bastion AI as your only security measure.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of Bastion AI after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
